There are various discount schemes that you can take advantage of in the Guildford area. We have pulled out some highlights here but you can also use the search facility at the bottom of the page to search all of the offers.

A £3,000 interest free loan for renewable energy installations. These include solar heat, solar electricity, biomass and ground source heat pumps.

Free loft and cavity wall insulation from some utility providers if you are aged 70 or over.

To find out if the offer applies to your energy supplier enter your details onto the Energy Saving Trust search facility.

Assistance is available to install insulation to walls and lofts through the Warmth for 1000 scheme, run in partnership between Guildford Borough Council and other local authorities in Surrey and Hampshire.

This includes hard-to-treat homes, where access is difficult or where there is no cavity. Further details are available on their website by clicking here

If you are receiving certain income or disability-related benefits you may also qualify for a government-funded grant for heating and insulation improvements
